The ‘Ala’ihi aka saber squirrelfish is one of the more intimidating fish to spear. Their scales are razor sharp, and they have three large spines, one on each gill plate and one just in front of their tail fin. this weaponry doesnt stop it from being a popular food fish here in Hawai’i.
